While leading his Friars to the 2008 New Jersey state championship, Rosario was named a Parade magazine second-team All-American, NJ.com Player of the Year, and a 2008 McDonald's High School All-American. He will attend Rutgers next fall.
A veteran of three state titles, this former state player of the year, National Girls Player of the Year, and USA Today First-Team All-American averaged 14.1 points and 10.4 rebounds in her senior season. She will attend Rutgers beginning in fall 2008.
A 6′ 5″ shooting guard, Haws has led the Knights to two 5A state titles and currently holds the T-Mobile Invitational single-game record for scoring with 26. Still a junior, Haws is the 2008 Utah player of the year.
After a 3A Virginia state title in 2006-07, Davis averaged 16.5 points and was named first-team All-Eastern Region team, second-team Virginiapreps.com Group AAA all-state, and co-district player of the year in 2007-08.
Lauderdale, a standout at the 2006 T-Mobile Invitational, decided to attend the Ohio State University after receiving offers from many top Division I schools. Lauderdale appeared in 32 games off the bench for Ohio State in 2007-08, shooting 57 percent from the field and collecting 15 blocks and nine steals.
This 6-7 wing from Fairfax High in Los Angeles averaged 25.5 points and 10 rebounds per game throughout the T-Mobile Invitational in 2006. A heralded recruit throughout the country, Chace remained in-state and has accepted a scholarship from UCLA. Chace Stanback played in 25 games for UCLA in 2007-08, making one start. He shot just more than 40 percent from the field and 33 percent from three-point range. Currently in the process of transferring, Stanback has not decided which school he will attend next.
Maya Moore, who led the US U-19 team to a World Championships gold medal last August, led the 2007—08 University of Connecticut squad in scoring (17.8 PPG), while shooting more than 54 percent from the field and 42 percent from three-point range. She also was second on the team in both rebounding (7.6 RPG) and blocked shots (1.6 BPG), and was third in both assists (3.1 APG) and steals (1.7 SPG). She broke the UConn freshman single-season scoring record with 678 points. In recognition of her efforts, she was named Big East Player of the Year and Associated Press first-team All-American, only the second freshman in history to be so honored. She played a key role in the Huskies' success in 2007-08, who lost in the Final Four to Stanford.
